not my beer

I need to address the matter of the L train. The L train is my lifeline to the Manhattan and, quite frankly, I have had enough of the nonsense. Over the past month or so, the train stops service after 11pm for 3-4 days of the week leaving me stranded in the city and being forced to fork over 15 bucks for a cab. Being that I am unemployed, this doesnt work well for me. I have no idea what they are doing, but I really wish they would do it and do it faster, I have a social life to attend to.

Then, there was the incident last weekend. Wasn't that a garsh darn bummer. And kind of scary, I mean I only live a few blocks from the Lorimer Station. But really, who would bomb Brooklyn, right?

I do find it hilarious when I see the signs and hear the announcements that say that passengers bags will be checked at random on the NYC Subways. Haha, come on now. Our subway system moves approx. 7 million riders in one weekday. Whats that $14 million dollars a day, close to $100 million a week. We can't get better protection for that kind of money?

Man, that shit makes me want a beer.
