Freshly inked and still a little sore!!

I have been yapping about this tattoo forever and today I finally got it started. Only a few more hours of awful pain and it will be done. The wonderful little lady, Ms. Katie Davis, that has been doing this for me is so super awesome. I mention this because the dude that did my other tattoo was a prick and when you are permanently tattooing your body, you tend to remember the experience and that douchebag ruined it for me. So thank you Katie for being uber cool.

In 2 weeks I am moving back home to brooklyn and I really wanted to get this done while I was still living in rva. My experience here has been life changing and I never want to forget the beautiful friends I have here and the memories we have made together. When I came down 2 years ago, I had no idea what I was doing or even where I was going, all I knew is that I needed to change my life and that I did.

So, in honor of my rebirth to new york, I got this dogwood branch tattooed on my arm to always remind me of the strength and beauty I have gained here in the south.

Before I get all emotional, allow me to revert back to the actual tattoo. It took only a few hours today to get it started and hopefully only a few more to go. I dont care what everyone says, it fuckin hurts. You know that sensitive area near your under arm....fucking ouch! And this was just the outline, the color is gonna be a bitch.
